‘While innocence endures’

When the great comic poet Ogden Nash wrote the not-so-comic “A Carol For Children,” he must have had “Christians” like Sen. Scott Brown in mind. No more perfect tribute could he have offered than the immortal quatrain: “Two ultimate laws alone we know:/The ledger and the sword;/So far away, so long ago/We lost the infant Lord.”
